Stacey, his daughter. I read these with tears in my eyes thinking of my father as a young man in WW2 European Campaign. His love for his family is so evident. As is the love his family had for each other. I wish he was hear to talk to about them…or just to hold his hand again. So glad and so special that our amazing Aunt Esther saved these letters so all of us could read them and know all of them from an earlier time. Thank you David, dear brother, for bringing these letters alive again to share among us and others(Holocaust Museum).

Devorah, daughter of Esther and Dave, and niece of the beloved Sol. I have to say that I read these through my tears. So beautiful is the love that shines through- brother to sister. And that she saved these the way she did, so that we could all have a piece of this history. Thank you mommy

Eric,Son of Esther and Dave. Much older brother to Lisa and Devorah. Nephew to Uncle Sol. What David is doing is absolutely phenomenal. It’s like a look into the past and a look at the people from whom we came. Being quite old I can remember. I remember a Victory Garden which my mother told me was necessary so that ” Uncle Mike and Uncle Sol had food to eat”. I remember my uncle who are deeply loved.
