SEPTEMBER POSTS: #49 – September 9, 1945

The last letter sent home in this series was June 29th, 1945, nearly 10 weeks ago, and the longest lapse in letters home since Solly arrived in Europe. Censorship is much more relaxed and Solly begins thinking his chances are good that he will be shipped to the Pacific now that the war in Europe is over. He also begins thinking about his future when he does get sent home.

#54 – No letters for October and November

If you have been following these posts you already noticed that Solly did not send home any letters in August 1945. He also did not send home any letters in October or November of 1945. Therefore, the next update/posts will not be until December.
